The Premium Range Peregrine Nest Box is a modular design suited to most structures with the appropriate vertical height and form. Peregrines have become a regular feature of the wildlife within urban areas and their success is in part limited by the availability of suitable nest sites. Whilst many buildings offer the ideal height and security for nesting falcons, few have ledges that accommodate a peregrine's breeding needs.

This nest box has adequate depth to accommodate the necessary nest scrape substrate - ideally 10-15cm of pea gravel. If there are limited or no surrounding ledges for fledgling birds to perch on, a fledging balcony should be incorporated into the design. This not only allows growing chicks to practice wing exercises and stretching before their first flights, but also provides a convenient platform for the adults to exchange food, switch incubation duties, and observe their territory.

Constructed from timber and protected with recycled farm plastic, the Peregrine Nest Box is both durable and lightweight, ensuring simple maintenance for the box and fledge platform.
